3. Payment and refunds
3.1 Paying for The Door’s services
Your payment covers the process of administering your application for support. We will only be able to proceed with your application on receipt of acceptable payment. However your payment does not guarantee the provision of our support. If it is clear to us from your initial application that we are not in a position to provide appropriate support and an assessment meeting is deemed unnecessary, we will inform you and refund your payment. However, if following an assessment meeting it is decided not to proceed with support for whatever reason, or if despite our best endeavours it has not been possible to convene an assessment meeting, no refund will be issued.
3.2 Gift cards and certificates purchased at thedoorshop.org.uk
By checking out this basket, you are agreeing to make a donation to The Door Youth Project (charity registered in England & Wales no. 1131919).
Under charity law, you do not have the right to ask for your donation to be returned to you. Purchase of a gift package constitutes a donation, so The Door Youth Project (“we”) are unable to offer a refund unless unauthorised use of your payment card or other payment method is proven. If your card is lost or stolen, or you become aware of fraudulent use of your card or payment method, you must notify your card or payment provider in accordance with their reporting rules.
Please note that whilst every effort will be made to use your donation in the area indicated, we reserve the right to use it for our general charitable purposes where necessary.
If you have confirmed that you are a UK taxpayer in accordance with the requirements of the UK Government’s Gift Aid scheme as they apply from time to time and have elected for us to reclaim Gift Aid on this donation, we will do so.
Thank you very much for your gift!
